Florida Veterans for McCain
Onward to Victory!
Tuesday, September 9

Fellow Veterans and Friends,

Last week's RNC Convention was the defining event that changed the course of this campaign. It was a passionately motivating experience, one of the most extraordinary events I have ever witnessed. John McCain and Sarah Palin are now squarely on the road to victory in November. They need our help to deliver the crucial state of Florida. Every single vote is essential.

Just 13 months ago, only John McCain believed that this campaign had a prayer. Now he has millions of believers. And they are motivated, enthusiastic, and fired up. Stand up with me and join this fight! To volunteer in your county, email flveterans@johnmccain.com.

Let's help Skipper McCain and Gov. Palin not just win this. Let's crush 'em.

Delray Beach Mel Pollack paused to ponder the possibility that a former Hanoi Hilton cellmate could become president of the United States.

"I think it's the story of America," Pollack said this week as he reflected on John McCain's ascent from Vietnam prisoner of war to Republican preside ntial nominee. "I raised my kids to believe that you can be anything that you want to be if you work hard enough."

Post Endorses John McCain
Editorial
New York Post
September 8, 2008

The Post today enthusiastically urges the election of Sen. John S. McCain as the 44th president of the United States.

McCain's lifelong record of service to America, his battle-tested courage, unshakeable devotion to principle and clear grasp of the dangers and opportunities now facing the nation stand in dramatic contrast to the tissue-paper-thin rsum of his Democratic opponent, freshman Sen. Barack Obama.

McCain has been in Washington for many years now, but he is not of Washington. He knows where the levers of power are located - and how to manipulate them - but he is not controlled by them.

Retired Senior Enlisted Leaders Who Support John McCain for President

We have had the honor and privilege of serving as career enlisted in the United States Armed Forces. As senior enlisted leaders, we served in the trenches with so many of the fine young men and women who were the backbone of America's Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. Our combined and individual experience informs our judgment that John McCain is the presidential candidate best suited to serve as America's Commander-in Chief from the day of his inauguration.

We believe that our National Secu rity is at stake in the years ahead and in this election it is critical that we get it right. John McCain has been through the crucible. He is a man of courage and honor who we can count on to always put country first. He has the experience and demonstrated judgment to lead in troubled times. His entire life has been devoted to the service of America. We unequivocally endorse him to continue his service to the country as the next President of the United States.
