Greetings --
Presidential candidate Barack Obama was in Florida on Friday and he took time out of his busy schedule to visit our Congressional District. Senator Obama spent time talking with folks at Parkesdale Farm Market in Plant City where I served three terms as Mayor.
Eariler in the day I attended his town hall meeting in St. Petersburg where he proposed his Economic Stimulus Plan.
As I thanked the Senator for stopping by, I emphasized my desire to serve in Congress and work with him to bring about the Change our country needs.
Obama's response ... "Let's make it happen!"
I'm running for Congress because I know that with your help we can have a better, brighter, safer America.
